Return to the Lord

Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us return to the Lord.

Lamentations 3:40 (NASB)

We serve a merciful God. His faithfulness towards us is immeasurable. God is always mindful of our spiritual and physical condition for there is nothing hidden from His sight. In His mercy, He keeps reminding us to consider our ways so that we will not continue in our erroneous ways.

The Holy Spirit in us causes us to know the heart of God. He desires that we grow in the knowledge of His will. His likes and dislikes must become more and more certain to us by the day so that we will walk in a manner worthy of His calling, fully pleasing Him in all respects. His children cannot behave like the world. We must renew our minds so that we will be transformed into His likeness on a daily basis.

If you woke up this morning, God has allowed you to do so. His purpose for you today is that you examine and probe your ways in the light of His word. Return to the Lord in every area that you have drifted away, knowingly or unknowingly. He will abundantly pardon if you will return to Him for that is His nature. You can be rest assured of His pardon for you are in Christ. Repent and return to the Father, for He is waiting with arms open wide.
